Destin,Florida with kids.
Destin is a city in northwest Florida, in the area known as the Panhandle. It's known for its Gulf of Mexico beaches and many golf courses, as well as the Destin Harbor Boardwalk. Nature trails pass through the dunes of Henderson Beach State Park in the south, where the coastline is dotted with pine and oak trees sheltering wildlife. To the west are the tall slides, waterfalls and pools of Big Kahuna’s water park.

Things to do
Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park
Be a dolphin trainer for a day. Snorkel with stingrays. Chat with a shark expert. It’s all in a day’s fun at the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park. The family-friendly marine park on Okaloosa Island is also home to sea lions, exotic fish, and alligators, to name a few.
Come out to HarborWalk Village where restaurants, activities and entertainment will please each and every taste on your next Destin family vacation. With so many things to do in Destin Florida; here you can find waterfront shopping,
paddle board and kayak rentals, pontoon and jet ski rentals, parasailing, glass bottom boats, world class fishing, pirate ship excursions, dolphin cruises, concerts and live music, weekly fireworks, weekly Fat Tuesday parades, live entertainment, and an array of restaurants, including Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville and Harry Ts, to satisfy all tastes. Plenty of things to do in Destin Florida, for the whole family!
The Air Force Armament Museum is the only museum in the world dedicated to the collection, preservation and exhibition of artifacts and memorabilia associated with Air Force Armament and its platforms of delivery. There are over 29 different aircraft that have found a home at the Air Force Armament Museum including an AC-130, B-17, B-25, B-52, P-51, A-10, F-15, F-16, F-100, F-101, and many other aircraft from t
he WWII era to the present. There are also several hundred pieces of armament to include a gun collection, bombs, bomblets and missiles to include the Sparrow, Sidewinder, cluster bombs, Bunker Buster and the MOAB. A 32-minute film on the history of Eglin Air Force Base and its role in the development of armament is shown continuously throughout the day. A lot of exhibits are outdoors, that's good because if its closed you can enjoy the exhibits no matter what.

Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village
We stayed in this hotel because we are Club Wyndham members. And this hotel is in the HarborWalk Village, it's the best spot for activities and enjoy the beach and water sports. Our trip was during New Years Eve and the hotel have a Fireworks show for the early sleepers kids at 8PM.

Donut Hole Bakery and Cafe
The Donut Hole consistently serves up incredibly delicious entrees, desserts, cakes, and of course donuts. Be sure to get here early, especially in the height of summer.
